Patrick started Lab5 in late 2016 and has served as the agency’s chief executive and lead architect since then. He has more than 18 years of experience in Enterprise Software, Business Process Improvement, and Management, including 12 years of specialized experience with Salesforce. He holds architect-level Salesforce certifications, including the Certified Data Architecture & Management Designer credential, and has presented multiple times at Dreamforce, Salesforce's annual user conference. A self-proclaimed "digital nomad," Patrick can often be found passing through an airport near you, but the places he calls home are Paris, France and Oakland, California. In his spare time he enjoys internet shopping and collecting Marriott points.

Carrie Maldovan is the Client Services Director at Lab5, has been on the team for 4 years, and is based between Brooklyn, New York, and Arusha, Tanzania. Her background includes leadership in an array of industries including international development, nonprofits, social enterprise, and the tourism industry. As a Certified Salesforce Admin, she specializes in helping clients to use data and evaluation to drive decision making. Most recently she oversaw the build and launch of a set of complex program management features for Google for Startups that leverage a host of Salesforce features to simplify and automate their program business processes, saving hours of their team members’ time.

Liz joined the Lab5 team as a Salesforce Consultant in 2017. She brings a background in Nonprofit Development and Partnership Management to Lab5 with a specialty in Project Management. She holds three Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Service Cloud Consultant. She loves working with clients to understand their challenges and work together to find the right solution.

George is Lab5's Salesforce Delivery Director. He has more than six years of experience overseeing Salesforce assessments and implementations, with a keen eye for optimizing business processes and operations. He is passionate about identifying quick wins for clients, as well as setting up the foundation for long-term growth and innovation. With five different Salesforce certifications including Sales, Service and Community Cloud Consultant, he inspires productivity in our workspace with his strong leadership skills and business acumen. George is originally from Brazil and is currently based in Barcelona.

Doug Owings is the Director of Development Operations at Lab5, has been on the team since 2018, and is based in Oakland CA. His background is in logic and formal languages, and he brings specialized experience in cloud architecture, data pipelines, and continuous integration & deployment. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Most recently, he has developed automatic Salesforce deployment processes, and the git/Salesforce developer CLI.

Rafael Barreto started his career as a developer in 2003. Currently he serves as a Tech Lead on multiple Lab5 projects. After more than six years working with Salesforce, Rafael has deployed tens of Salesforce instances, expansions, and strategies across France, Belgium, and the US. He holds three Salesforce certifications: Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1 and Identity and Access Management Designer. As part of Lab5's team, Rafael demonstrates high standards of team collaboration leading developers to achieve our client’s expected outcomes. Rafael is Brazilian but has lived in Portugal since 2018.

Monika joined Lab5 after working as a Solutions Engineer in the Website Translation industry. She previously taught English in South Korea for 3.5 years, before returning to the United States to transition to a career in Technology. She fell in love with the Salesforce Platform and has been committed to empowering organizations to use data-driven solutions to improve mission management. She is passionate about helping others explore and understand the possibilities of technology. She believes in having fun while doing meaningful work and making the complex simple so people can focus on their primary mission. She is proficient in innovating effective business strategies and research to increase market share and optimize business processes. She excels at driving results and organizational improvement as well as identifying and addressing the needs of clients. She lives in Houston, Texas, where she enjoys doing escape rooms, watching corgi videos, and traveling

Jared Renzi is a Buffalo, NY native with a background in software development and a degree in math. He joined Lab5 in 2019 as a Salesforce Consultant, providing expertise in bespoke front end development both on and off the Salesforce platform. Most recently, he is now a Certified Copado Consultant, and excited to share the many benefits of version control and automated deployments with teams everywhere. He is currently patiently awaiting the day when he can combine his passion for the Rust programming language and video game development with an organization’s need for realtime data visualization, right in the Salesforce platform.

As Operations Manager, Jon works to make sure Lab5 is running smoothly and efficiently. After university, where he obtained Master's Degrees in Law and in Philosophy, Jon used his administrative and creative skills in a number of back of house operational and management roles, as well as designing sales focused digital marketing strategies. Jonathan is a Paris born French citizen currently living in Melbourne, where he enjoys being one day in advance on the IRS.

Mario joined Lab5 as a Salesforce Delivery Manager. Holds a Salesforce Admin certification and is working to expand his knowledge in the Salesforce ecosystem. He has been leading implementations and development teams through the years, acquiring specialization in Agile Frameworks. He has a Marketing background and decided to specialize in IT by completing a masters degree in IT Management. Mario is mexican and based in Guadalajara, Mexico

Over seven years ago, inspired by the rapid evolution of technology and the internet of things, Mario decided to delve into the world of software and design. This journey took him through the basics of graphic design, all the way until developing his own CSS framework just to take on the challenge. He is constantly searching for new creative techniques that can help him feed and grow his creativity. And he has gone through every artistic skill he has encountered. He currently lives in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he is still searching for his own photographic style, without much success.
